Dangers of cheap car window tint

When thinking about tinting your car, you may be tempted to go for the cheapest roll or pre cut kit you can find. The problem with cheap window tint is that it is a false economy.

Over a short period of time (weeks or months), cheap window film will start to crack, peel away from your car windows and turn purple. What makes it worse is that this type of tint is extremely hard to remove from your windows meaning you’ll be left with a bad tint job that you can’t replace or have to spend ages getting it off realising you should have spent that bit extra in the first place! The pictures show the results of fitting some cheap tint.

We use a professional grade window tint for all of our pre cut kits which is manufactured by SunTek who are one of the industry leaders in professional grade window film, along with Llumar and SolarGard.

Our tint (if installed correctly) will not crack, peel, or turn purple whilst it is on your car.
